Trici the Guide Part I (Hagia Sofia to Mosaic Museum)

We decided to hire a guide for some of the key sites in the city. The owner of our hotel suggested her friend Trici, an artist.

She loves cats. She has adopted 5 street cats.  This is a famous two eye-color cat that roams Hagia Sofia.

Some restored mosaics. Gold tiles were scraped off thinking they were solid gold.

In another part of the city, Trici takes us beneath a restaurant where a Byzantine structure still stands

At lunch, Trici tells us stories of her past lovers and the drug-filled 70's.  She is friends with Danny Trejo of Machete fame.

Next is a mosaic museum

This is Trici's friend.  He says he is the Turkish John Travolta.
